openmediavault-zfs 6.0.3 in the repo now.
* Add interface to create filesystems, snapshots, and volumes
* Fix bug in used column calculation
* Add compression option for pool creation
* Only install notification database entry if it does not exist

Just did, also ran all the outstanding updates and rebooted - that seems to have fixed it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Nope. Not saying I won't but I really don't want to. Using a password file to lock/unlock isn't possible with OMV 6.x for one. Getting the zfs plugin to a better place and improving the kvm plugin are my priorities right now.
There is nothing stopping you from using LUKS. Since normal filesystems live on top of it, OMV really doesn't care about it.
Can't wait for the luks plugin. I just need to add a key file via gui, cause i'm using an usb stick to decrypt after boot.
I'm scared of fiddeling with cli to encrypt my drives and maybe not getting access to them.
Hello,
A little heads up.
The current version of openmediavault-wakealarm does not work on OMV6. Apparently nobody uses it because I was the first one to report the problem when working on a friend's NAS.
The fix was quite trivial and has already been submitted and merged. A release will happen when ryecoaaron will have the time.
flashmemory 6.1 has a web interface now. It just tells you if it is running.

ryecoaaron Nice job with porting all those plugins. I have been using the KVM plugin a little bit now and I have spotted a bug.
In the "Remove optical disc" menu the dropdown is not being populated even if there is a optical disk in the xml. I am able to add a optical disc but not able to remove again.
If I really want to remove it I have to delete it from the xml file.
Just take your time this is not a crucial thing.

I have it fixed but I am in the middle of a big change with the plugin. So, it might be a bit before it is released. You can use virt-manager or virsh to remove a disk too.
# vmname="vm1"
# grep 'source file' /etc/libvirt/qemu/${vmname}.xml
<source file='/var/lib/libvirt/images/vm1.qcow2'/>
<source file='/var/lib/libvirt/images/gparted-live-1.2.0-1-amd64.iso'/>
<source file='/var/lib/libvirt/images/test234.raw'/>
# virsh detach-disk --domain ${vmname} /var/lib/libvirt/images/gparted-live-1.2.0-1-amd64.iso --persistent --config
Disk detached successfully

Thanks to your efforts, works fine, but if I create a volume from ZFS WEbGUi , I expected to use it ( must appears on the select drop down "
Storage ->File Systems ->Create"
to format it for example, because created volumes do not have format by default. otherwise is unusefull.

Since I didn't change the backend enumeration or the volume creation, this has probably been broken a long time and even if you create a volume from the command line. I will have to look into this.

Once again, I learn all the ways I would have never thought to use something. If I create a block device on zfs, I wouldn't think someone would just put a different Linux filesystem on it. I would use it for kvm or tgt myself. So, while not useful to you, it is still very useful.

Other ¿bug?, I can't create a snapshot of my Filesystem, only from pool is permited, this have no sense, because snapshot are most usefull if you do snapshot from a filesysten that the entire pool.
filesystem in ZFS are like folders in Ext4, a way to granularice your data .
eg: you create a pool from your disk ( can be RAIDZ1,2, or a simple bunch of disk), do not matter, next step, must be to create your folder structure, one filesystem for each EG: Data, Video, Music, etc... so you can do snapshot only for data, no need to do a snapshot of all the pool, and the real sup. can be do croning snapshot, eg: one snapshot a day for data, one a week for music, one a month for data again, etc...
PDS: And thanks again to try to do a better webGUI support for ZFS is really a good addon for a prof. NAS

YES, is usefull, sorry if I say other thing, i refer that is more usefull if I can format this new volume from OMV WebGUI as Ext4 and use it in webGUI.
But of course that can be used from shell, sorry if I do not explain well, English is not native for me.

Why are you doing this? Why not create a zfs filesystem and use if from the webui?
But of course that can be used from shell
More than that. You can use it in the kvm and tgt plugins.

Uh, yep. And I just commented on it here - RE: omv-extras plugins - porting progress to OMV 6.x
This plugin is a must-have for me
Why? Everything it does can be done from the command line. And if you use key files, I won't be able to add those at all since the ability does not exist in OMV 6.x.

really weird way of expressing gratitude for receiving those plugins for free
Chaps, is there any update on porting "Remote Mount" to OMV 6.x?
This is the only thing stopping me from upgrading my primary OMV Server to v6 (My Backup Server is already on v6).

Well, because of your post... I decided there was no choice but to kidnap Aaron. He is now locked in my basement and soon I will begin pumping him full of Starbucks and Methamphetamine. I can't guarantee his work will be accurate.. but it will done.
Serious.. cut the guy some slack. He's got a real job to you know. I think the progress he's made is pretty freaking amazing considering most of these plugins were a complete rewrite.
