netatalk is an OMV core plugin not an omv-extras plugin. It was not available on OMV 5.x either. netatalk is not really maintained anymore. Timemachine has supported samba for years.

Nope. I am porting plugins from easiest to hardest so that I can get used to the new client side framework. LUKS and zfs are plugins I didn't write, barely maintain, don't use, and are hardest to port. subzero79 mentioned trying to port it but I haven't heard about any progress. If he did a significant amount, then it might get done earlier. I will ask him.

Sounds ok to me. Motivation to work on porting the plugins has been very low. I am spending most of my free time learning Ansible and Gitlab CI/CD for work. So, it may be a while before I can get to that.
